Bonjour, sunshine! Wherever the heck you are... Ha! Its always there, not always seen. But there nonetheless. Its creepy calm on the beach right now. Not much of the shore seen either, but its there. Ive caught a glimpse when the ocean retreats for a few seconds. It feels like winter. It looks like winter. Not my hometown of Chicago winters, but winter nonetheless. Youve probably already figured out todays message. Things arent always as they seem to be. And things wont always turn out as you planned. Weve talked about that much here. Like yesterday. I went through all our Christmas stuff + OMD youd think wed have at least nine trees to decorate which is about right 16ish years ago. Time to let it go + create physical + energetic space. One monster tree + quite a few boxes + bags are being picked up by my friend for his church. A couple of boxes filled with beachy stuff goes to my other friend. It feels good to move the energy around + out along with the Santa collection that was someone elses great idea way back when. After a few hours of THAT I couldnt stop. Next up was our yard. Thats Joes domain but he was stationed in front of the big-a** TV watching football. I had an urge to be outdoors. I swept leaves + lugged a couple of chairs that should have been retired years ago to the side of the house until trash day. Clearing space. My final not on the list activity was running to Walgreens for white twinkly lights. One can never have enough of those. Ahhhh, speaking of lights, I see evidence of the sun. Against the grey backdrop it stands out radiantly. I didnt think Id see the light this morn. But I did. Stay open to all possibilities. Situations, circumstances, your environment changes by the moment. Stay in the now, tune in to what is + discover something beyond your expectations. Perhaps something even better than what you thought. The only bummer if I was forced to come up with one was that I didnt do one big thing that I wanted to do...pack for a quick trip to NYC. But it will get done. Right after I finish inhaling the beach, because that seems to be more important than throwing stuff into a suitcase. The present moment is the platform from which all possibilities launch. Stay there + receive all the good with your name on it. Theres a lot of it so keeping hanging in the now. Wouldnt want you to miss any of it. Time to head home. Big workday ahead + that suitcase will be packed before I head downtown. I hear the now laughing...with me + not at me this time. The present moment has a sense of humor that the past + future will never have outside memories + wishes. Both good but theres nothing like staying present in real time. Suitcase, here I come. Wishing you a day filled with space to create the life you desire, decorated with twinkly lights + reality. You CAN pack it all in with an assist from the universe.
