Bowling Wars trailer released. This could well be a very important bowling film for the sport. Creator Don Barrett says Since I joined Facebook, right when it first came out, Ive never received so much positive feedback, via likes and messages. My latest show (Ive done over 150 hours of network television in my career) is called Bowling Wars. It chronicles the sport and how it has evolved. We dont remain silent on the problems facing bowling, we let the greatest bowlers in the world talk about them. There are lots of individual stories. I dont know how you could watch the interview with Stu Williams without shedding a tear. My editor, Rick Waggener, (one of the best Ive worked with in 40 years of television production) threw together a 1:19 pre-trailer with just the action sequences. With 40 years behind me, I have more than a few stories to tell, and that includes insight into some major bowling shows, where the scoring is so high thats is obvious the lanes were walled. Since many of the people that formed the PBA have passed, one guy still alive and kicking is Carmen Salvino who played a huge role in front of and behind the camera.
