Healthy Environment Youth Award The Healthy Environment Youth Award honors youth that recognize healthy aspects of the environment that support healthy lifestyles through physical activity and good nutrition. The award is given two times per year to youth who submit a photo of an object or location that supports healthy living in the environment and a 250 word essay describing why the object or location in the photo helps youth to be physically active or eat healthy. The first place in each age group wins a $100.00 gift card. Second place in each age group win a $75.00 gift card, and honorable mention prizes in each age group wins a $50.00 gift card.
