Brad and Tamsin have been busy sowing seeds to plant in September - broad beans, peas, rocket, california poppies and sweet peas! The seedling mix they use was especially ordered to have no fertiliser in it so Koanga could control its own additives. Its organic seed raising mix from Daltons. Koanga added Natures garden and seed innoculant which assist microbial relationships for the roots. None of these seeds are to be pricked out, as they will be directly sowed in September or when the first good shoots authorise themselves. 10% more seeds are sown than estimated to be needed, to allow for germination rates and selection of biggest and most vibrant!
