Only EE/AA candidates will be considered Requirements: Own reliable vehicle and valid SA driver’s licence Tertiary qualifications – Must be able to supply documentation Min seven to fifteen years working experience in managing various aspects of a business (staff, finance, administration, infrastructure) Experience in engineering or financial background will be highly advantageous Must have knowledge of FIDIC and NEC contracts Computer literate in MS Office Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal Willing to travel nationally and internationally Must have good administrative skills and have the ability to multitask You must be able to adapt swiftly and gain knowledge of their products Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills Please note this is an senior position Duties: Ensuring efficient and profitable operations of the branch Ensure that the branch is adequately staffed and has well maintained facilities and infrastructure Provide vision and strategy to ensure growth of the branch Setting goals and priorities and ensuring performance Coordinate and monitor activities of all sections in the branch Maintain a high standard of customer service and deal with non-conformances/complaints speedily and effectively Ensure that quotations, tenders, sales orders and projects ae commercially sound and processed and managed properly Monitor the financial performance of the branch as well as the execution of major orders /projects within the budget limits Ensure sales budgets are met, profit margins are healthy, costs and expenses are controlled Ensure that the warehouse is orderly and properly managed, that adequate stock is kept and correctly recorded and that transactions are executed in a disciplined manner Identify shortage or inefficient use of resources and implement corrective action Attend to the recruitment, performance reviews and skills development of staff Authorise critical activities such as leave, expenditure, COD releases Represent the company in important negotiations and presentations Maintain and promote that values of the company Provide regular feedback o top management of the company on the performance and activities if the branch Contact details Janeke Visser [email protected]
