Brand new trade magazine to cover all aspects of the winter sports industry in the UK and beyond. The Ski Trade is a brand new free publication that will focus entirely on the winter sports industry. Launching in October 2013 and distributed through InTheSnow Magazine as well as a number of industry related events, The Ski Trade will tackle a wide variety of topics that impact on the snowsports community. The magazine will feature stories and news from the myriad of businesses, brands and services that encompass the snowsports industry. Some of the topics that will be featured in The Ski Trade include sound bites from the industry as they happen, reporting industry direction and statistics, focus on equipment innovations and trends, interviews with industry icons, new and innovative companies featured, green and environmental issues tackled, trade and consumer ski show news and recruitment. This will provide an opportunity for everyone in the snowsports industry to become involved in talking about what they do, why they do it, what challenges they face, where the industry is going and how we can all help to promote a positive environment for success now and in the future. The first edition of the magazine will be launched on September 24, 2013 with 3000 copies being distributed with InTheSnow Magazine to industry subscribers. Another five editions throughout the winter will follow on a monthly basis right up until March 2014. Crucially, the content will also be available online and as a free download on Apple Newsstand. The Ski Trade team includes Rob Stewart, Amie Postings and Patrick Thorne in addition to Publisher Dominic Killinger from InTheSnow and InTheSnow Live. All are currently involved in the snowsports industry in a variety of roles that means they have first-hand experience of all aspects of the trade as well as access to the latest news and events that are happening both in the UK and further afield.
