*****Breaking News****** Sky sources are reporting news coming out of the Let erEat camp regarding Eat striker Jonny Hathrill who is reportedly unhappy at the club and stalling over contract negotiations. Despite the club being currently unbeaten and top of the league, he is apparently discontented at being on a much lower weekly wage than fellow strike partner and the clubs highest paid player, striker Pipo Walton despite a good goal scoring record this season. Rumours started circulating after last nights game when Hathrill appeared to positively jump at the opportunity of switching teams and making up the numbers for SC Galaxy who were a player short. This raised frosty eye brows amongst his team mates, the fans at stadium and those watching at home on MNF. The reports come as a huge surprise to Eat fans after Jonny hotshot Hathrill has become a huge fan favourite compounded by recently revealing his Once an Eat, Always an Eat tattoo on his calf. With only 6 months left on his current deal, the player is expected to be hoping for a move to the Premierleague and a significant wage increase. When at Wyndley Stadium today, one fan said its a disgrace, what does he want, were top of the league and bound to get promotion at the end of the season, why would he want to move to a club where hes just going to warm the bench!!? All this comes on the back of a turbulent new year for the striker after accusations of a gambling addiction, with late night poker tournaments at Star City taking priority over his new fiancé. The club are expected to hold a press conference this afternoon regarding the speculation but at the moment it appears that Jonny Hathrill could be the second big name striker moving clubs this January transfer window following Wilfried Bonys switch to city.
