Brewery facts: One beechwood aging barrel holds enough beer for you to drink a case a day for 135 years! And they have 20 of them! Also, the beechwood adds no flavor to the taste (same wood used for Popsicle sticks and tongue depressors, and after it is used for five batches, it is then recycled, and is used for mulch here at this gorgeous facility, and at area parks). It aids in the fermentation, because Bud, Bud Light, Platinum, and Black Crown are the only mass produced beers that carbonate naturally (other big brands are carbonated with the addition of CO2 gas).
