Brian McKnight is a 12 on my 1-10 scale--- as he comes across in media anyway. He is one of those people who just gets more and more appealing with age. When he takes comand of that stage here to an astoundingly tepid reception by the white audience, I have to be sitting down. He has that still-waters-run-deep thing going on which was obscured in the way he was market when he was younger. He plays 8 instruments. On top of that, from what I can tell, he only deals with undeniably black women. Which may be why hes never won a grammy thought nominated for 16. (that honor is shared by Snoop Lion...??) Anyway....Once again, lucky lady who has him as a bridge over troubled waters.
