Brian “Ziggy” Liloia has been maintaining The Year of Mud since 2008, when he began building and documenting his first cob house. Since that time, Ziggy has worked on several other natural buildings, including his current timber frame and straw bale home with partner April. When his feet aren’t covered in mud or trying to keep his keyboard free from it, Ziggy enjoys gardening, cooking, daydreaming about food, woodworking, keeping chickens, constantly pursuing the simple life, and planning for the next big project with April.
