Brianne Palm texted me today and said she was disappointed I had yet to write a review of Carrie Underwoods newest single Something in the Water off her greatest hits record due out in December, so here you go: No one can deny the fact that Carrie has the voice of a goddess and is one of the most prominent and successful female performers in country music, but I must say she has outdone herself and this is by far in my top five favorite songs shes released (along with So Small,Before He Cheats, Unapologize and Good in Goodbye). The lyrics alone about her expressing her faith are so beautifully written and would put most Christian artists to shame. Ive had the chorus stuck in my head all day.
