Bright and early Sunday morning and Leigh and Aliza are out looking for Annie and starting to put up flyers... when who should appear but our little lost dog... and the end of a leash held by the woman who lost her in the first place. Annie wasnt an orphan at all, but part of a family who lives only 2 blocks away. Her real name is Chanel and the family seemed very happy to have her home again. There is another, younger dog, who was missing her, too. So, God (who works in mysterious ways as we all know) gave our girls and Matt the chance to experience the love and responsibility of having a dog of their own and Papa now gets to stop sneezing every time he walks in the door. Aliza pointed out that our prayers were answered, and Annie is safe and warm and loved - just not by us. Chanels family have invited the girls over to take her for a walk, if they want to. and to play with her in their yard. Thanks, St. Francis, you did see our Annie safely home...
