Bringing Love to Every Single Soul is being featured in Straits Times today! :D When I first shared with others my idea of involving resident volunteers in the community to conduct reading programmes for children at the void deck of rental blocks, many find my idea absurd. But, I choose to believe that there are strengths even in the rental communities. It is important to help the community, but its even more important to help the community to help themselves! And today, BLESS has done it and has expanded our efforts to 2 communities over 6 months! Thank you to the committed management team, NUS volunteers and resident volunteers who makes this programme, Bringing Learning to Every Shining Star a success! :D We will continue to reach out to more rental communities and further develop the capacity of these communities! (:
