British Airways, (BA)... British Airways services move on pier at London Heathrow Terminal 3 As of 17 September 2014, British Airways has moved to a largely on pier operation at London Heathrow Terminal 3. Over 95% of British Airways services to and from Terminal 3 will benefit from this improvement. Previously, all British Airways services at Terminal 3 were operated from off-pier stands. British Airways is now using different gates at Terminal 3, made possible by some other airlines moving to the new Terminal 2. The new gates will improve access for those with reduced mobility as well as the overall customer experience of boarding and disembarking the aircraft for all customers. It will also reduce the time for customers with tight connections. Customers should ensure that they check the departure screens before making their way to the gate.
