You dont have to teach us democracy, because we Adivasis are practising it. You dont have to teach us socialism, because we Adivasis are practising it. You dont have to teach us human rights, because we Adivasis are practising it. You dont have to teach us about environment, because we Adivasis are living with ecological principles. Now, the statement may look a bit romantic to some, but I believe that there is a strong element of truth in what she said. Where the mega development projects have not invaded, where the mainstream civilization has not captured their lands and displaced them, the Adivasis in this country are still behaving more or less the way CK Janu has stated.
