Bruce Lee died in 1973, and Game of Death came out in 1978. Confused? It’s simple: Bruce Lee did 40 minutes of footage for Robert Clouse before he finished Enter the Dragon, his last completed film. Five year later Clouse decided to use those 40 minutes to flesh out a full-feature film, using stand-ins and footage from earlier films. Big mistake. The only thing worth watching on this disc is the original 40 minutes included in the extras as The Game of Death Revisited. The rest is garbage. TGoDR contains the scenes where Lee enters a pagoda and must battle a new boss for each level, dressed in the yellow jumpsuit that inspired Quentin Tarantino to do the restaurant scene in Kill Bill (I’ve also visited this restaurant, the Gonpachi in Tokyo, Japan). Not Really a Bruce Lee Movie. 3/10, just for containing some real scenes. Game Over! imdb/title/tt0077594/
