Brylei is 5 weeks old as of yesterday!! She weighs 5lbs 5oz, gettin big! Shes on the CPAP with a pressure of 7 & on 45% oxygen. It is giving her 30 breaths per minute so she dont have to strain herself as much to breath. As of now they are trying to give her a little bit of time to see if her breathing gets better , but they are leaning towards her getting a tracheostomy for a more efficient airway. She is tolerating her feeds very well. They put her on phenobarbital for her seizures & hasnt had one since. Shes having problems with her endocrine system; her sodium is low, Her blood sugar is low & her potassium is high. We appreciate all of your prayers & support. It makes the stay in Kansas City that much easier ❤️
