Bubble feeding, open mouths, breaching and a curious approach from a calf--any of those things on their own would make for a very good trip, all of them together make for a TOP10 morning offshore {8-3-14} Passengers always ask: was this a good trip? and I always respond what did you think? Some people judge a good trip based on numbers of individual sightings, some base it on the level of activity, some base it on the number of different species seen... Truthfully, every trip is different, the whales (numbers, types and behaviors) ebb and flow much like the tide...which is part of the fun of whale watching, you never know what you might see or experience!! With that being said, its a great time to go whale watching...
