Buenos Dias my friends, Cup:O:Joe in hand, with 9 to 12 confirmed on the deck, live snow-stake showing 10 - Roads are open over both Carson Pass & Spur with R1 conditions as reported by Cal Trans @0500. Lets serve this up, Temperatures are currently 27@Summit and 29@the base with winds 6.4 out of the East. Snow is certainly not cold smoke POW but its going to be riding absolutely Butterlicious We will start out on snow-safety hold this AM, Mtn. Teams are getting ready as I type here. With any accumulation above 6 we will run the appropriate snow-safety routes on both the front-side and back-side lifts. So, expect some delays on 1, 5, 6, 7, 11 & 10 to start, Well run the back-side routes after we open the front-side... Its a process, but it is necessary... We do anticipate a full mountain opening today, but (Caveat inserted here) We do need to run all snow-safety routes first. assess then we will open....
