I encourage everyone to join us each week, for our Corporate Day of Consecration, Prayer and Fasting to draw nearer to God than ever before and learn to exert disciplined control over the desires of our flesh and temptations of the devil, in order to live holy throughout the rest of the week! Prayer combined with fasting is the most powerful weapon in our spiritual warfare arsenal and our Lord warned us that it’s the only way to cast out certain types of demons! Fasting also provides a powerful driving force, to breakthrough enemy lines on hard fought battle fronts in our lives and take victory over them! To the glory of Eloheim (God) in Messiah (Christ)! And finally, fasting enhances your health, by giving your digestive system a day off from processing food once a week! In closing Beloved, fasting empowers a Believer to overcome things that need discipline as well as deliverance, tearing down every hindrance and distraction in our lives that separate us from the full Shekinah Glory of God! So, do not consider fasting to be some religious sacrifice or solemn duty to be performed as an empty ritual to EARN the favor of God or do it to APPEAR holy before the eyes of men, for then all your efforts will be in vain and you will have your reward! Rather, consider it an inexpressible joy to set aside a day each week to consecrate, fast and pray with your beloved Brothers and Sisters in unity and on one accord as Mishpocha (Family) seeking only THE FACE OF ELOHEIM (GOD) and coming together in the very center of His perfect will to love Abba (Papa, Daddy) with all that we are and one another as He loves us in the highest way possible, just as they did in the early church… A LOVE-FEAST… featuring The Word of God, intercessory prayer for one another, words of love and encouragement, and psalms, hymns and spiritual songs!
