Bukit Gelugor By-Election | Campaign war! Its now the 4th day of the Bukit Gelugor by-election campaign and several posters on hudud linked to the DAP has surfaced. Banners using the Penang government crest with the words Hudud in Penang 2020 are illegal and should be taken down, said Penang executive councillor Jagdeep Singh Deo. A report would be lodged with the Election Commission over these unauthorised posters, Jagdeep said at a press conference today. There is also a poster with DAP Bukit Gelugor candidate Ramkarpal Singh posing with the words Hudud for All, alongside PAS and DAP logos. Ramkarpal denies that the posters or banners were part of his campaign. He calls for a clean and fair campaign, saying he respects his opponents chances of victory, no matter who they are.
