Bungay Girls 1 Thetford Bulldog Belles 12 Eva Bell 3 Aimee Frost 2 Gabby Wenham 2 Emmie Hutt 2 Melissa Boulton 1 Mia Arnold 1 Olivia Baker 1 POM: Lauren Stannard Managers Player: Jordy Hunter The Belles travelled to Bungay on a misty morning, but they were not to be deterred and found the target in fabulous fashion!! Within three minutes, Frosty found the goal with a cracker to open the scoring. Eva quickly followed this with her first, her second coming moments later when an outstanding ball from Shannon landed perfectly at her feet. Bungay were fighting back and giving central defender Lauren plenty of work. However, the ever fabulous Lauren was premiership in her performance, once again earning her POM. Making her comeback, goalie, Fraya made some great saves and her goal kicks were spot on, giving the Belles great advantages to surge forward. Scoring the Belles 50th goal this season was Gabby, who converted with precision for a belter!! Captain Mel B, then went on a superb run which she finished with a net rattler of a goal!! Jess aka John Terry cleared a precise shot from Bungay right off the goal line after Fraya had come off her line for a save. It was an outstanding clearance which meant Jess kept Bungay goal less. Hannah was unlucky not to score herself, when a classic run saw her shot go just wide. Just before half time, goal getter Gabby hit a great shot to take the score to 6-0 Belles. The second half saw Emmie make a fabulous angled shot for her first goal, which she quickly turned to two, when she went on her trademark run and converted with ease. Bungay scored a lucky goal, but the Belles came back with a reply when Emmies run and pass, found Mia who struck it perfectly for her goal. POM, Jordy was battling throughout and came close a couple of times to scoring, but the woodwork just kept getting in the way!! Nonetheless, Jordy was making great passes which ensured the ball was travelling up the pitch for others to take the opportunity. Ella played a fantastic game in defence, battling and winning tackles which she then passed perfectly to the awaiting midfield. Frosty took advantage perfectly, picking the ball up and after a great run, scoring a super goal. A fabulous corner from Hannah saw Eva score for her hat-trick. Bungay battled on and one break saw Jess put in a trademark slide tackle to stop the forward dead. Another occasion saw Fraya make a great run off her line to clear the ball back up the pitch. With minutes to go, birthday Belle Olivia gave herself an early present when she smacked a shot into the back of the net. Final score 12-1 Belles. An outstanding display girls!!
