Bureaucratic reshuffling: Govt transfers 28 officials The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government transferred 28 bureaucrats with immediate effect on Tuesday, according to an official statement issued. Sahibzada Saeed Ahmad was appointed additional chief secretary of the K-P finance department, while Irrigation Secretary Khalid Pervez has been transferred to the Planning and Development department where he will serve as the additional chief secretary. Establishment department Secretary Shahrukh Arbab has been transferred to the Sarhad Development Authority and will serve as chairperson. Muhammad Hamayun, previously the secretary for elementary and secondary education department, has now been made secretary for Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment department. Local Government and Rural Development Secretary Syed Said Badshah Bukhari has been transferred to serve as secretary of the environment department. Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Secretary Major Syed Khalid Hussain Gilani would now serve as secretary for Energy and Power department. Health Secretary Abid Ali was appointed divisional commissioner for Hazara Division, while the K-P Board of Revenue Senior member Fazle Rehmani will now serve as secretary for Inter-Provincial Coordination. Communication and Works Secretary Waqar Ayub has been made a senior member of the K-P Board of Revenue. Excise and Taxation Secretary Jamaluddin has been appointed as secretary labour department. Administration department secretary Hifzur Rehman will now serve as local government and rural development secretary. Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Secretary Hussain Zada Khan has been appointed secretary Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperation. Energy and Power Secretary Zafar Iqbal has been appointed the director general of Provincial Services Academy, while Minerals Development department Secretary Syed Waqarul Hassan would serve as secretary of the administration department. Muhammad Khalid Khan, previously the Commissioner for Hazara Division Abbottabad, has been appointed as transport secretary and Labour Secretary Muhammad Akbar Khan will now serve as irrigation department secretary. Agriculture and Livestock Secretary Muhammad Afsar Khan will now serve as commissioner of Malakand Division, Environment Secretary Muhammad Adil has been asked to report to the Establishment department and Auqaf, Hajj, Religious and Minority Affairs Secretary Gulzeb Khan will now serve as the director of Staff Training Institute, Peshawar. Meanwhile, Staff Training Institute Director Muhammad Younis Javed has been appointed as secretary for Auqaf, Hajj, Religious and Minority Affairs. Secretary for Inter-Provincial Coordination Sajid Khan has been appointed as secretary for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education, Transport department Secretary Sikandar Qayyum will now serve as secretary for the Establishment department, while Malakand Division Commissioner Dr Muhammad Fakhr-e-Alam Irfan has been appointed secretary for the health department. Afzal Latif has been posted as Communication and Works department secretary, Raheel Ahmad Siddiqui Excise and Taxation department secretary and Joudat Ayaz Bhas has been appointed as Elementary and Secondary Education department secretary.
