Business Development Manager Position Centurion, SOUTH AFRICA Sign Up and register to Work at CEB CEB_SHLCareers Follow on Face Book CEB’s SHL Talent Measurement Solutions Careers Description Job Purpose: The Senior Business Development Manager will target HR/Personnel, Organisational Development Professionals and C-Level Executives to identify sales opportunities, build and present solutions, close business, manage the growth of accounts and increase awareness of CEBs SHL Talent Measurement Solutions in the market. With full support of our consulting team, the selected candidate will work with a team of professionals to drive significant revenue growth in South Africa. Key Accountabilities: •Achieving excellence in execution of solution selling skills, in order to develop needs with each customer beyond transparent needs and presenting CEBs SHL Talent Measurement Solutions to meet these needs. •Actively seek and develop new streams of income within the designated portfolio including current and new clients. •Developing of comprehensive account life cycle plan for all new accounts which demonstrates the activities required to increase account penetration and the adoption of CEBs SHL Talent Measurement Solutions •Enhancing and developing relationships with the appropriate internal partners to ensure development of suitable solutions based on the needs identified, successful presentation of the solutions to the client, acceptance of the solutions by the client and the successful implementation of the accepted solution. •Continually analysing of the designated industry to develop an intricate understanding of the dynamics of the industry with the purpose of identification of needs within potential clients. •Seamlessly handover of the account and inherent relationships during the implementation phase of the solution Knowledge/Skills/Professional Requirements: Key Competencies: •Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations •Relating and Networking •Presenting and Communicating •Applying Expertise and Technology •Planning and Organising •Persuading and Influencing •Coping with Pressures and Setbacks •Creating and Innovating •Deciding and Initiating Action Skills: •A high level of proficiency in business English •Confidence in independent negotiations at a high level and to close and formalize deals •Listening & communication Experience: •5+ years business development experience relevant experience with a strong focus on Consulting / Solution selling. Experience selling HR, Professional Services or Software solutions will be preferable •Proven sales achievement track record of selling complex solutions and are used to selling on results, through business cases, more than certain products. •Experience of working very closely to clients, building long term relationships with people in different kinds of roles, positions and at different levels in the organization. •Presenting cases and communicating on different levels in the clients organisation
