“Business Development Manager” is urgently needed for a big pharmaceutical Multinational Company located in Egypt: Major Accountabilities: • Develop and maintain a business development capability for BD&L activities in the country. This involves the responsibility for identifying and implementing appropriate business development opportunities. Also responsible for developing portfolio gap analyses and competitive intelligence reports for the country in close collaboration with senior managers, and seeks return-maximizing ways to fill portfolio holes through licensing agreements. • Define country in- and out-licensing strategy as a result of portfolio gap analysis from local and global portfolio management and in alignment with 5 – year launch strategy. • Subsequently identify and negotiate appropriate local or global in-licensing deals • Create growth opportunities in line with long-range strategies of the business in the country, taking into account synergies across all local strategic and commercial approaches. • Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities in country • Liaise with Regional office to facilitate and co-negotiate the acquisition of local product lines / contracts for distribution • Identify, drive and guide implementation of RX/ GX initiatives in the country in accordance with regional and divisional requirements • Follow all global/ regional In - licensing principles whilst setting up deal structures in order to ensure effective implementation, Reporting Structure: Reporting to Country Head Minimum Qualifications: • 3 years of experience with strategic planning and/or business development in pharmaceutical environment • Excellent analytical skills; understanding of market research methods and processes • Demonstrated ability to deliver and innovate on product licensing opportunities • Thorough understanding of Egypt market landscape, including deep understanding of competitor positions and Pharma product economics • Possesses demonstrated strategy development skills; understands and applies major strategic frameworks • Creative in identifying solutions to problems and persuading others of the course of action • Serves as an advocate for adoption of innovative approaches and ideas Kindly send your CV to: info@multi-skills, please write “Business Development Manager”.
