Business is booming! Since the introduction of the per item fee for mattress and base disposal at the Summerhill Waste Management Centre (Wallsend) on July 01st, 2014. Demand for our services has been enormous. The number of mattresses and bases we are receiving has increased tremendously and with a saving of at least $7.50 (minimum) between our charge and that of Councils, cost (naturally) is a big part for most people in seeking a cheaper alternative. Councils per item charge at the Summerhill Waste Management Centre for disposing of mattresses and bases is based on size, e.g... a single or double mattress will cost you $27.50 each (or) per item and a king or queen size mattress and base are charged at $33.00 each (or) per item. Our charge on the other hand is set at one flat rate of just $20.00 each (or) per piece / per item, another bonus with us is that we collect them so you dont have to leave the house. newcastlemattressrecyclers.au
