Business rant as I am working on a new prospectus: I have seen 3 types of people since my dive into the business world. 1. The Marketer: This person sees something at the surface but really doesnt understand what it is that he is selling. He finds general points and puts his name out there everywhere and while he gets a few nibbles from his attempts; his product usually does not fit the demands of the demographic that is targeted and because not understood will never be marketed right. This person usually makes back their investment and leaves at least that venue. 2. The Content WHORE: This person is all about the subject/product and its integrity. For no marketing reasons will they risk cheapening what they believe to be as their brand and often narrow their marketable base considerably and most to the point that there is no profit. The content is often dynamic but they do not know how to get it out there and because its so specific to a select people it will either become a cult followed item cherished by few or fall by the way side. 3. The Niche Marketer! This person has the positive traits of both the afficienatio and the marketing savvy to make a quality product and know how to get it out there. In todays market, especially with limited capital, it is important to know how to find your target audience and engage them without giving away all your product if your after profits or at least to be recouped for time, money and effort. I could hop off on a rant about that subject too so Ill just close this episode of thought vomit for now LOL.
