Business tip of the day: Everyone has a little voice. That voice is a collection of all the experiences that each person has had over the course of their lives. Its created by teachers, parents, church leaders, mass media, friends, family, and the people theyve been associated with. When you are building a team, its imperative that you know this, you acknowledge this and you listen to WHAT that little voice is saying. These are examples of what that little voice may be telling you or your business partners: Im too young Im too old I grew up in the wrong town I dont look the right way I dont have the right personality Im a failure I will never be successful Im not cut out for this I dont have the right skills I dont have the right family I dont have the right education So how do we ignore that little voice that keeps telling us we wont succeed? First of all, know that most successful people had a little voice, too. Second, ignore it. Third and most important: KEEP PROVING IT WRONG! The more you have little successes, that voice will change from I cant to maybe I can to I know I can. Look at people who are having success. Are there some like you?
