Buster meets Barrence... Its been huge fun having my dear friend, Barrence Whitfield, stay with me for a couple of days. (Todmorden has taken him to its heart - naturally). Barrence and his band The Savages are over in the UK, from Boston, Mass., for a handful of dates. I saw them in Leeds on Sunday night and the current Savages line-up, with the mighty Peter Greenberg back on guitar (after an absence of 25 years), is the best Ive seen and heard since that first eruption 1985. They have never been on better form, and blew the roof off the Leeds gig. Theyre in Sheffield tonight, Wednesday. Click on the link below for details of the remaining gigs.
