Bustling around...due to Robins shortened chemo ordeal, we get to do something fun this weekend! We are headed to Connecticut for the bridal shower given for Katie Bock by her future mother-in-law! We are very pleased that we will able to attend. :) Please say prayers for Robins peace of mind...this is her first flight since being diagnosed. Robin has never been a happy flyer...lots of ear pain, lots of vomiting...that we now assume had something to do with the brain tumor. Now with the shunt and the port-a-cath we are going to request that they wand her instead of having her go through the x-ray machine. Weve been told that the machine shouldnt bother the shunt...but were not taking any chances! I have all of the documentation about these devices in hand... Im sure it will be well. Then for the flight we have meds to knock her out, if necessary. We are prepared. And excited to go!!!
