Busy day . . . arrived in Helen about 11:30 last night with no reservations and almost everything was booked. . . Early start. . . sightseeing in Hiwassee. . . lunch at the Happy Hawg. . . then caught a ride to the top of Brasstown Bald and walked down. . . . more sightseeing down very back roads . . forded a creek and found some great campgrounds. . . plan to go back one day this week for a trek down to Flat Shoals Falls. Dinner at Pauls on the River . . . all you can eat Alaskan crab legs . . . then a walk through the beautiful city of Helen. . . . ended my day with a good soak in the jacuzzi on the back porch overlooking the mountains.
