Busy day with new dog friends today. The black and white Pom is named Batman. He is a shy little guy, but probably so scared. He is resting in Carolina Beach tonight and will be checked out by vets tomorrow I am sure. The white/cream dog with the terrible matted fur is Rasta. It took 3.5 hours to clean that poor boy up. A glimpse of his new self is in the center picture. We will get better pictures soon. He will be fostered in Raleigh and will get his vetting in Raleigh also. On the ride from Warrenton, he tried so hard to sit in my lap. He just wants to receive and give lots of love. I was able to find a little opening in that matted mess between his ears and he just loved to be rubbed there. Both of these sweet boys will soon be available for adoption at schnauzerrescueofthecarolinas.org
