Busy, productive day yesterday. An enjoyable visit from my pastor, dinner out, a lengthy stop at Lowes and back home. The canine war continues, and we are both somewhat discouraged about the way the protocol for treating the sibling rivalry which smidgeon sontinues to engage in every day. Poor Riley......hes his usual, peaceful self and his brother is likea wild man, growling and picking fights whenever he can. Oddly, they are fine in the mornings; smidgoen is very peaceful on the morning walk and during feeding, etc. After that., who knows. Guess we will continue to work on this for a while longer, but it is wearing very very thin, and I really miss having Riley in the house. Thankfully, there have been no horrible fights like the one that took usto the e,ergency room to have Kens arm treated. All those bandages are gone now, but it appears that we will have a lasting record wth the bite scars on his forearm. Ken is in gardening heaven this morning....taking out box bushes and preparing to plant roses, azaleas,, tulip bulbs, and perhaps other stuff later on. Josh may be able to come over this weekend and help with the planting - oh yes, also two trees in the back yard to close the gap between our property and the church parking lot behind us. Ambitious project - what else is new ! Kenmust stay busy and thats cool with me. Wishing all my hing all my FB friends a pleasant rest of the day and evening.
