But how many teraquads of data would it take to teleport a Human? - TopicsExpress

But how many teraquads of data would it take to teleport a Human? Or a rutabaga, for that matter? So, were looking at 6,400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 protons, electrons and neutrons (6.4x10^28 or 6.4 octillion individual particles for a 154 pound Human). A single teraquad would be 1 trillion qbits, so youd need 6,400,000,000,000 (or 6.4T) teraquads. Probably double that to ensure you could build a successful Heisenberg Compensator, not sure how youd deal with the pattern buffers (a 3rd set)? I think the only way this would/could be feasible was from an idea I came up with decades ago, using carbon lattice structures (nanotubes) as a memory/computing medium. Youd have to dope the carbon with a light metal (lithium, perhaps) but then it would require cryogenic storage so the lithium didnt corrode/evaporate during use. Of course, thats just a guess on my part...
