But of course…perpetuating racist, violent, and highly offensive “entertainment,” that in a better sense could represent dangerous propaganda against a group of people…would be attributed as being a brave representation of “freedom” towards expression and speech. There is already a violent relationship that Muslim migrants/refugees of war stricken countries from the Middle East are enduring from French citizens that further propels islamophobic attacks throughout the country. Enough with calling this violent occurrence a threat against freedom, calling it such an act is part of the problem and never the antidote. The very word “Freedom” implies that you are responsible for your own actions in a social construct in which you have no say in…and will be subjected to the appropriate acts of “justice,” which then serves to represent the process of punishment and reward within the realms of law. “Freedom” of anything, in my perspective, is non-existent in a paradigm of man-made artificial regulations. And it’s really odd how I have not heard anything in regards to the attack that was made to the NAACP office in Colorado, through any major news outlets. Imagine how many other hate crimes go uncovered, considering that statistically in the United States, a hate crime is committed ever hour and does not include the unrecorded incidents that account with safely guarded institutions like law enforcement agencies, academia, and the military.
