But those who wait on the Lord, Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 .There was once a King who wanted a personal assistant so, he set a challenge to the entire kingdom saying, “Whoever will fill the ponds water in this pot will be chosen for the post. But remember, there is a hole in the pot. Some left without a single try, whilst others tried once and then left. But one man kept filling the pot patiently. Even though the water poured on the ground the man emptied the pond water and poured it into the pot. At last the pond became empty. The man found a diamond ring in the empty pond and he gave it to the king. At this the king said, This ring is a reward for your patience and hard work. You are fit for the job. How many of us are willing to see something through? Do we have the patience? To be patient is one of the hardest things. We want to run before we are able to walk. Let us today practice some patience, after all God promises that He will give us wings like eagles! Prayer: Dear Lord help me to be patience with everything in life. Amen! Anjalie
