But would you join a political party which pushes an agenda for agriculture? I went through that last elections. I found out that many associate agriculture with hard labor. But nowadays with the development of wells, and filters, that problem has been diminished. Then I found out the hard way. That people in charge of supporting political parties with propaganda such as t-shirts and hot-air balloons, some from Florida, Puerto Rico, Dominica, Sint Kitts, and the Dominican Republic started to tell their people living in Sint Maarten to support other political candidates besides those whom favor agriculture. WHY? Because then they could continue to export to our country and take the dollar from circulating in our economy. Social Reform Party has seen believed that market forces decides, rather than a government policy. If many people see that there is money to be earned, then start importing produce themselves, and competition will bring down the price. However, that is not developing our own agricultural sector, and that is not putting a leak on the flow of currency out of the country.
