By special family request - In June, 1972, Gretchen was featured on the cover of the First National Bank of Arizona magazine, standing on the McNary Scenic RR train. It began as a log train delivering logs to the Southwest Forest Industries sawmill and later ran east from McNary AZ, (where Gretchen ran a branch office) for a few miles as a tourist attraction, now long gone with the bank, the rather famous McNary General Store and most of the rest of McNary. The town virtually died when the sawmill burned down. Gretchen had this framed picture really hid away, took me all morning to find it. My gosh, look at that hair, thats the real deal.
