By the Chief Minister’s Award for Excellence in Quality Education has been launched to encourage and recognize the dedication of the Principals, Head Masters and Teachers in schools. Following awards will be given under this program: 1. Best School Award- One in each District- Rs. 1 lakh each to be spent on skill based learning materials. 2. Best Principal and Best Headmaster -Rs. 50,000 each. 3. Two best male teachers and two best female teachers-Rs.50, 000 each. 4. VIDYA launched for unmarried girl students of Class VI for continuing school education. The scheme envisages an initial deposit of Rs 5000/- only in their account to be drawn with interest after passing class XII. 5.
