By this time most people with ragweed allergies have had three weeks of congestion and itchy eyes. Relief may be in sight if we can get some cold, rainy weather. Cold inhibits ragweed pollen release; and, if the rainfall is heavy enough it will not only clear the air but also degrade the flowering structures reducing pollen release even more. We still have nearly a month of possible high ragweed pollen days remaining in the season. Do your cold rain dance! Total pollen count HIGH @ 324 (ragweed). Mold count MODERATE @ 7,367 (Cladosporium).
