+++ Bühler Innovation Challenge 2014+++ The Bühler Innovation Challenge 2014 final took place on September 5, 2014, at Uzwil. From the original 220 ideas, eight teams received the full training and four teams made it to the final. The final teams presented their business proposals to a jury of CEO Calvin Grieder, CEO Grains & Food Stefan Scheiber, CEO Advanced Materials Samuel Schär, Chief Strategy Officer Bruno Mendler and Chief Technology Officer Ian Roberts. In addition, the jury was joined by Prof. Roland Siegwart from ETH Zürich. It was a fantastic day and the business ideas were well developed and focused on the core needs of our customers and our company. The teams were extremely well prepared, highly motivated and passionate and were very clear about what they needed from the jury in order to implement their proposals. All four received the go ahead to implement their ideas. Each idea has a designated sponsor, who will ensure the business alignment, the funding and support with coaching and de-bottlenecking.
