Muslim Leaders to Condemn #ISIS, Call for Support for Syrian People (HARTFORD, CT, 9/18/2014) – On Friday, September 19, the Connecticut office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-CT) will join that state’s Muslim leaders at a press to denounce the ISIS extremist group and it un-Islamic actions. What: Press Conference to Denounce ISIS and Call for Support for the Syrian People When: Friday September 19, 12:30 p.m. Where: Muhammad Islamic Center of Greater Hartford, 155 Hungerford St, Hartford, CT 06106 Imam Kashif Abdul Karim, resident Imam of Muhammad Islamic Center of Greater Hartford and board member of CAIR-CT said: “We join our voices with Muslim leaders across the nation in condemning in the strongest possible terms the extremist group ISIS and its barbaric actions against ethnic minorities, Muslims Sunni and Shia, and against innocent journalists and aid workers.
