#CAIR-OK Applauds DA’s Refiling of Hate Crime Charges Over Attack on Woman Perceived to Be Muslim (OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 04/28/2014) – The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) applauds the District Attorney’s refiling of hate crime charges against Stuart D. Manning in regards to his verbal and physical attacks against a woman he thought to be Muslim in Tulsa last December. Manning was arrested on a complaint alleging that he committed a hate crime against a woman he assumed to be Muslim. According to reports, Manning is accused of hitting the woman in the forehead and sticking a knife in a tire on her vehicle while repeatedly calling her a Muslim b----, his booking report says.
