CAIR has opposed anti-Sharia law bills across the country, promotes a positive image of Islam, and funds mosques/dawah recruiting centers across the US. We must not only stop this lunacy globally but in our own country. The number of mosques/dawah/recruiting centers in the US rose 74% since 2000, the Al Farooq Youth and Family Center has been recruiting radicals for years. We can go back to 2005 when a mosque/dawah center established and funded by basketball star Hakeem Olajuwon in Texas gave more than $80,000 to charities the government later determined to be fronts for the terror groups al-Qaeda and Hamas. Anyone who criticizes CAIR or radical Islam is labeled an Islamphobe a term designed as a weapon stigmatizing critics and silencing them. If these groups don’t have to be politically correct why do we?
