CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS - Ecoweek Prishtina 2014 The ECOWEEK International Conference & green design Workshops is coming to Prishtina , 12-19 October, 2014! Preparations for the event are in full speed! But there are still many interesting ideas to develop and things to be done. So the ECOWEEK team in Prishtina is forming a work team to help with the task! We are looking for creative young professionals and students in the fields of architecture, design and engineering who have the motivation and enthusiasm to be involved in the ins and outs of the conference organization! We are delighted to invite you to join the ECOWEEK Prishtina team! Bring your interests, skills and time to ECOWEEK Prishtina . What do I get out of it? Experience, exposure, training, networking, international contacts & friends, certificate, credits for your work in all the ECOWEEK printed and online materials. List of tasks/ Positions available: 1. ECOWEEK WORKSHOPS Your task will be to assist the workshop tutors during the week. 2. LECTURES: We need people to help with the necessary preparations for the lecture that includes sound checks, presentation screenings, arranging the seating areas, providing the necessary materials etc. 3. WORKSHOP MATERIALS Help ECOWEEK compile materials for approx. 7 workshops (prepare photos, maps, google maps or layouts). 4. EXHIBITION Help us with the preparations for the ECOWEEK Prishtina exhibition which includes printing, picking materials, editing pictures, etc. 5. RECEPTION Prepare the lists of ECOWEEK guests, prepare the welcome bags content, coordinate the registration process on-site on the opening day, and be around if registration issues arise during the week. 6. SPEAKERS PICK UP & LOCAL DRIVER Be the one to welcome the keynote and speakers to ECOWEEK Prishtina! Pick them up at the airport and help them to set up their workshop (purchase materials for the workshops, etc.) - Only Prishtina based volunteers. Valid drivers license and own vehicle required. 7. EVENT STILLS PHOTOGRAPHER Document the event from beginning to end, and then post the photos online and help us make them accessible to all the participants. Stills and movie photographer can be the same person. 8. EVENT VIDEO PHOTOGRAPHER Be the ECOWEEK Prishtina official video photographer! Document the event from beginning to end, create short movies, a pre-event teaser, interview speakers and tutors, and post them in YouTube and/or Vimeo to be available to all participants. GENERAL TASK – ACCOMODATION, VENUE, HOTELS, TRAVEL BOOKINGS Help with catering arrangements, booking hotels and flights for speakers etc. . In other words, be involved in what needs to be done!
