CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS (November 20-March 20, 2014-2015 period) We are happy to announce that Armenian Progressive Youth (APY) starts recruitment of volunteers from period of November 20 - March 20, 2014-2015. What you gain: 1.Development of leadership skills, 2.Participation in international and local projects, 3.Improving your foreign language skills, 4.Getting to know Erasmus+Program and the projects of European Youth Foundation, 5.Team working skills, 6.Priority in APY vacancies for local and international projects. What you contribute: 1.8 hours per week of volunteering for APY (6 hours in the office and 2-4 hours for meetings and trainings), 2.Helping APY with administrative tasks, 3.Sharing your ideas and starting initiatives, 4. Friendship, creativity, responsibility. The volunteers will be involved in one of those groups. PR GROUP: 7 members The tasks of the group are: - designing logos, posters, stickers, brochures - printing and preparation of posters, brochures, stickers - dissemination of information in APY website - preparation and dissemination of press releases - strengthening APY and RA positions in international organizations PROJECT WRITING AND SUPPORTING GROUP: 7 members The tasks of the group are: - research of grants - preparation and implementation of projects - supporting to implementation of projects - cooperation and contact establishment with international organizations - maintaining contact with APY partners. LOCAL EVENTS ORGANIZING GROUP, 7 members The tasks of the group are: - developing local events(non-grant projects) timeline - starting initiatives and implementing them (ex. tree planting, party, visit to orphanage house) - organizing events of APY Calendar (ex. APY birthday, New Year) YOUTH AND ENVIRONMENT GROUP: 7 members The tasks of the group are: - organizing eco-workshops, awareness trainings and campaigns - promoting environmental rights as part of human rights and particularly focus on plastic usage and water as a resource, consume and infrastructure - give more knowledge to the youngsters about waste prevention and raise their consciousness about necessity of being eco-friendly. YOUTH AND MEDIA GROUP: 7 members The tasks of the group are: - taking and developing photos of APY events - creating movies on various topics - maintain the digital archive of APY If you are interesting in our activities and projects and want to become a member of APY society, dont hesitate to send your CV to [email protected] address, mentioning in subject the group you would like to be part of.
