CAMPAIGN INTERVIEW QATAR PETROLEUM 25 – 28 March 2014 at PT GUNAMANDIRI PARIPURNA OPEN FOR WALK IN ( INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN AND MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN ) VACANCIES: 1. Technician I (Mechanical) - Primary Purpose of the Job: Participates in the mechanical maintenance and repair of rotating and stationary equipment within the NGL, Storage and Loading facilities and jetty, cooling water and fire systems, fresh water and desalination units, road tanker loading facilities, Naphtha storage and loading system. Carries out work in accordance with Corporation and applicable industry standards. - Education: Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by two years full time mechanical trade training leading to possession of a registered qualification (OND or equivalent). - Experience & Skills: Minimum of 5 years various mechanical maintenance and repair of related equipment within the petrochemical industry. 2. Technician I (Instrument) Primary Purpose of the Job: Carries out unsupervised maintenance work, both corrective and preventive. Repairs and tests general and mostly conventional instrumentation systems and equipment. Specific tasks e.g. PLC based control systems will be carried out under the supervision of at least a senior technician. Education: Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by 2 years full time training on industrial instrumentation or recognized institute. Experience & Skills: At least 6 years in the installation, maintenance, repair and calibration of a wide range of similar instrumentation equipment and systems within the Petrochemical Industry.
