CANCER! Just two days ago I was openly rejoicing about the awesome news I received about being told I did not have CANCER, even though there were many signs that this poison was lurking in my body. Well, last night I received a call my Father had collapse, was on life support, had prostrate CANCER (unknown to us and him I think) and it had spread throughout his body and he had internal bleeding. About a hour after the initial call I (his only child) was informed “Your Father Is Gone!” Death comes with such a full baggage of emotions. As I am forced to unpack the many feelings that have been attempting to gain access to my soul all night, I am determine that even in extreme grief I extract any unhealthy sentiments that come to “kill, steal and destroy” my spirit. Meanwhile, I welcome any “sincere” PRAYERS and words of encouragement. This is my journey and my Father’s journey on this side has ended. Let Eternal PEACE Rest In You Dad (Paw Paw), PEACE LORD, SPEAK TO ME.
