CANCER UPDATE!!! It seems that the cancer is stronger than the chemo and radiation. It is still there. As it was explained to me it is a very aggressive/resistant type that will have to be surgically removed, along with most of my esophagus and the upper portion of my stomach. They will open me up at the end of Sept.. The wait isnt the worse thing in the world because it gives my body a chance to recoup from the chemo/radiation therapy. I guess finding this out for me was a disappointment but not a surprise because of the odds I was given. If I didnt have the surgery I probably wouldnt be here for my next birthday...so cut away Doc!!!!!!!! I again want to thank everyone for all the physical help, moral support, prayers, and any other positive energy forces sent my way. The hospital stay will be at least 10 days and I will be on severe restrictions for about 6 weeks after that. If everything goes right I should be back to as normal as I can get in 4 months or so. So if ya all want to get drunk with me, or take a bike trip, or try to fish........the clock is ticking!!! LOL
