CANT GET RIGHT!.... Remember the movie, Life, starring Eddie Murphy & Martin Lawrence along with several other funny comedians/actors? Remember the 1 character, Cant Get Right, that came to Camp 8 to serve his sentence? LOL! I chuckle every time thinking of the movie but really theres a message in it...see, the Jewish people were originally GODs chosen people/chosen generation for HIS promises. They endured many hardships, trials & tribulations under Pharoah (all the while praying to GOD for Deliverance) while in Egypt but they couldnt get right. When GOD brought them out of Egypt & kept Pharoahs army at bay...they couldnt get right. GOD led them into the wilderness & because of themselves, they remained for 40 years (GOD kept them still)...yet, they couldnt get right. When GOD gave them the Ten Commandments which they wanted to govern themselves accordingly...they still couldnt get right. No matter what they, themselves (GODs chosen generation/people), did...they couldnt get right. In actuality they all never reached the promised land. Just couldnt get right! Now, fast forward; GOD always has a ram in the bush!!! Amen! Just like the Israelites, HE knew we (the offspring of the 1st Adam) wouldnt be able to get right on our on either. We were born into sin through the 1st Adam who fell from Grace. BUT GOD!!! GODs word became flesh in that HE sent HIS son, Jesus to our rescue. Jesus was the Word of GOD walking in flesh on Earth without a spot, a blemish or sin (HEYYY!!! That made me shout right there!). Thus, the separation between Jew & Gentile was no more when Jesus arrived on the scene (clean as a whistle). The Jews knew GODs law/ways & couldnt get right. The Gentiles knew neither & couldnt get right but had faith. Jesus was/is our ram in the bush. Let me close out...Dear Hearts, you aint gon never get right unless you get Christ in your life (Saved, Born Again, Renewed Mind, Holy Ghost filled)! As a matter of fact, quit saying to folks that ol tired cliche about you need to get right. They cant!!! We can do nothing of our own strength/own power (PHILIPPIANS 4:13). Folk cant get right on their own. We need Jesus! Christ, the Blood of Jesus, makes us Righteous!
